Kerja, sape lagi susah?

I’ve seen few blogs who wrote about how hard it is to be a sahm, wahm, ftwm, and whatever shortform that i could not understand or maybe it is my inability to decode. Hahahha

I am a working mom. I work day and nite. At times i just couldnt do my work then i’ll just sit and watch the kids conquering the hall, and the laundry sinking the house. Does that make me a lazy mom?

At times i came home late. Very late. Or sometimes unusually late, that i could not make time to cook for my family. Does that makes me a bad mom?

Some weekends i brought back my office work, hoping i could squeeze my butt in between mommy’s hat and engineer’s safety helmet.. What happen? The mommy’s hat is glued on my head. Work is not happening at home (when kids are around)..

Shirts to wash, hang and fold. Food to cook, serve and clean. Kids to be bath, played with, muqaddam & reading, and a bit of scolding, with lots of love.

Tak kisah la who you are. Everyone have their responsibility. I’ve been SAHM for a while and I am still FTWM and at times I could be WAHM. It is equally tiring. We carry great responsibilities with us. Working late, no home cook dinner doesn’t make me less than a mother. And it also doesn’t make me a better employee.

As long as I keep myself happy and my family healthy. Who do you think you are to judge me? And who do you think you are to make urself feel better than others?

I gotta do what i’ve gotta do. So do you. Stop complaining and comparing.

Little talks

Tadi ptg, aku baru perasan bunga kristal pecah. Satu je. Dlm kepala aku, sama ada budak2 buat atau ada break-in trials. Bunga tu betul tepi tingkap.

“sape buat ni?”, tanya aku kat umat belum mumayiz yg ada kat rumah, sbb diorg je ada. Hahaha
“smlm adam main bola dgn adik, kena bunga pastu jatuh,” jawab Adam dgn penuh hati-hati takut kena marah.
Tiba-tiba Aidan dtg, “Adik.. Adik”

Dia mengaku dia buat.

“Kenapa x ckp mama?”, soal aku. Mmg aku x marah, tp kalau aku mcm nak marah pun sumpah x jadi marah. Cute sgt pengakuan tu.

“Oyii”.. Kata Aidan.

Oyi = sorry.

 

Hi office baru!

Saya ada office baru, one big office kat rumah. Suami saya buatkan utk saya dan saya rasa sangat terharu. Terima kasih Ajek Adalah rasa weird nak panggil nama Ajek skrg sbb lepas dapat Adam je, terus panggil dia daddy. heee

Work in progress

Lepas duduk 5 tahun, dapat jugak akhirnya membuat sesuatu kat dapur ni. Thanks again to my husband to make it happen. Yeah ini adalah hadiah anniversary katanya, cmpur hadiah birthday tahun depan. Gitu? Boleh laa.. Hadiah saya kena tinggal tiap2 minggu jaga anak sendiri tu mcm mana? Hahaha

Top cabinet installed

Keadaan rumah skrg sgt messy.. Kalau budak2 balik rumah ptg2, aku terus bawak naik bilik atas, lebih selesa dan yg penting SELAMAT. bukan la maksudnya ada paku bersepah, tp aku rasa rumah bhgn belakang adalah bersepah takut ada apa-apa jatuh.

Skrg dapur pun belum siap sepenuhnya, tunggu Jumaat ni siap. Tadi contractor datang betulkan apa-apa yg patut. Ruang utk simpan oven (iye aku tak dapat built in oven sbb Ajek kata oven dah ada T___T) sempit, clearance sikit sgt. RUpanya salah information antara designer & carpenter. Patutnya internal dimension 24inci, tp carpenter buat 24inci termasuk dgn frame. Tak tidur malam tadi memikirkan mcm mana.

So tadi abg kontraktor tu bg idea, buat pintu buka ke atas. Ahah.. aku mintak kos ganti rugi sbb oven sempit (walaupun boleh masuk tp leceh sikit).. Aku tak nak tambah duit & aku tak nak pintu kayu. It would be aluminium framed glass door!

Sukati la korang nak tolak2 ke siapa salah tu. And guess what, I’ll get the glass door! *wink*

Budak ID tu mintak maaf berkali2. Aku kata takpe, asalkan ada solution. Hehhe.. lagipun mmg aku belum bayar habis. Takut aku potong baki kut.. hahahha

Ok waitt for Friday. Cant wait to cook again! Bosan gile sbnrnya makan kat kedai. Sink & hob belum install, kalau nak makan pun leceh kat rumah sbb kena basuh kat bilik air. haihhhh sinki keciikkk.. Alasan la sangat kan. Sbnrnya aku suka sgt takyah masak. heheh
