So malam td sapu minyak panas di kaki dan pagi tadi rasa nak merangkak keluar dr katil. Mcm citer the ring. Hahaha sakit weihh kaki! Padan muka!! Masa keje Pana.sonic dulu x de hal laa jalan byk. Skrg ni je duduk dpn pc.

Hi!! Aku menyapa diri sendiri sbb jap lagi I’m the only one who will read this entry. Hahahha..

Ok now, what should I write? The kids grew up so fast. Adam can read now. Slowly.. but yes, he could read. Dgn berbekalkan mata yg buntang, baru dia boleh baca. Adam has a verrrry short attention span. VERY! One minute he reads “cuba baca”, the next second he already checking what Aidan is doing.

Daddy mmg tak boleh ajar Adam. Nanti last2 Adam tak buat apa2 sbb nangis kena marah. Well, sabar mama pun makin nipis lagi2 kalau homework ada nak kena buat. tapi nak buat camne, sabar je lah. Kan? Kalau tak sabar, sedas kena cubit. Kalau kena musim hormon bertukar, 3 das.

Aidan dah officially diaper-free! Eh iye ke? We still put on his diaper when he sleeps. Takut terlepas. And of course kalau naik kereta/outing. Dia ni kejap2 nak cing.. I dont exactly train him. He did it himself. Alhamdulillah.

On the first day when I told him, “adik dah besar”.. Suh dia pi toilet kalau nak cing. Yes, betul dia pi toilet.. tapi tak panggil mama. dia terus lepas tak buka seluar T___T.. Pastu baru panggil.

Petang sikit, dia masuk toilet, lepaskan jugak tak buka pants tapi panggil abang! hahaha iyaaa.. Adam yg ‘tolong uruskan adik’. Dia basuhkan Aidan.. err basuhkan seluar Aidan (yg masih berseluar) hahhaha.. Pastu diorg dgn bangga tunjuk kat daddy, “daddy, adik cing!”.. Oh yeahhhh air menitis2 sepanjang perjalanan.

Lepas tu baru aku ckp, “Pandai adik gi toilet.. Tapi kena buka seluar dulu!”..

Ok, mama salah. SOP tak betul. Missing 1 step T___T. Kalau audit, Aidan tak salah at all! hahahhaha

Aidan pandai sgt cakap skrg. Kejap je dia catch up. padahal baru je pandai ckp few months ago. Now, tiap2 malam dgr diorg berborak atas katil. Aku dgrkan je. Seronok dgr diorg cerita. kalau ada isu hangat, aku join la borak. Kalau tak, biar je.

Kul 10 aku akan interrupt. Time’s up boys. Esok sekolah.

“ahh mama ni tak cool langsung”, they’ll say this when they’re 15.And that would be another 10 years. Whatt??!! Kejapnya. i left my school 10++ years ago. Ok.. 13. hahaha

I should find Ajek’s scanned IC. Esok nak register sekolah Adam la. Nanti delay2 melepas pulak bulan Mac. Adam is going to primary school in 2014. he’s a big boy now. he could take care of Aidan. Seriously tak tipu.

Aidan pulak mmg high respect kat abang dia. Ada masa laa kan. Ada masa lain, ada je nak cari gaduh.

Adik beradik.. memang mcm tu kan?

“Mama.. tgk adik, adik buat Adam”.. “Mama, tgk abang.. Abang buat Adik”

And I’d respond, “mama tak nak tgk sape2 lah”

ok.. mama tak mmg cool.

Ok, back to the title.

Finally, Aidan talks! Bukan 2 patah.. terus berpatah2. Boleh berbual dgn dia, dia boleh ckp, mengadu, beritahu etc. Like, “Mama, adik utah tat ini”.. Nak translation? Bahasa org dewasa, “Mama, adik muntah kat sini”.

“Mama, adik yak” (transation tak perlu)

“Mama, adik nak susu entol. asuk air, nanak anas, asuk susu. Dah!”..
Ini mmg panjang ayat dia ckp. Lengkap! It was Subuh, I was given instructions on ‘How to make milk, Aidan’s style”

Translation: “Mama, adik nak susu botol. Masuk air, tak nak panas, masuk susu. Dah!”

The first 3-words-sentence was, “Ini susu adik!” one evening, when daddy came home with 3 packs of powdered milk.

Kami suami isteri memandang satu sama lain serentak, tersentak, senyum.. lalu pergi ke Aidan dan memeluknya!

“Mana susu adik?”
“Ni!!”

I would remember that sentence. It takes 2 years and 4 months for Aidan to talk a full sentence. Alhamdulillah..

Now his favourite sentence is, “Mama, olong adik. Adik ak auwww”, sambil beri iPad. Bermaksud, “Mama tolong adik. Adik tak tau (nak main game kat iPad ni)”..

T__T or kalau aku tak tolong, dia pi kat abang dia. Kalau abg dia bizi buat benda lain, habis. Nanti dia luku je Adam. Adam cam biasa manja lebih, “Mamaaaa!!!!!”.. oh come on.. balas je lah! hahahah

Mmg aku akan biar je diorg gaduh 2-3 minit baru aku leraikan. Sorang kena salam, sorang kena peluk sesama sendiri. Kejap je.. Aku toleh balik dah main. (Kejap lagi gaduh balik)

Yang buat aku tersentuh, Aidan akan terbangun tgh malam, peluk aku dan ckp, “Ayang mama”.. dgn suara mamai.

Awwwwww..

I am a working mom. I work day and nite. At times i just couldnt do my work then i’ll just sit and watch the kids conquering the hall, and the laundry sinking the house. Does that make me a lazy mom?

At times i came home late. Very late. Or sometimes unusually late, that i could not make time to cook for my family. Does that makes me a bad mom?

Some weekends i brought back my office work, hoping i could squeeze my butt in between mommy’s hat and engineer’s safety helmet.. What happen? The mommy’s hat is glued on my head. Work is not happening at home (when kids are around)..

Shirts to wash, hang and fold. Food to cook, serve and clean. Kids to be bath, played with, muqaddam & reading, and a bit of scolding, with lots of love.

Tak kisah la who you are. Everyone have their responsibility. I’ve been SAHM for a while and I am still FTWM and at times I could be WAHM. It is equally tiring. We carry great responsibilities with us. Working late, no home cook dinner doesn’t make me less than a mother. And it also doesn’t make me a better employee.

As long as I keep myself happy and my family healthy. Who do you think you are to judge me? And who do you think you are to make urself feel better than others?

I gotta do what i’ve gotta do. So do you. Stop complaining and comparing.
