Cheap workbook does wonder

15 Oct

Aku suka beli workbook utk Adam. I know that he doesn’t know how to do-it-right. Tapi maybe sbb aku sendiri suka workbook masa kecik2 dulu, dgn warna2 yg pelbagai (esp imported workbooks). Bukan nak kata apa, workbook yg made in Msia usually nipis, pastu hambar je warna dia. Lack of brightness hahaha. Tapi aku beli jugak, bukan aku menyisihkan langsung.

The big brother

The big brother

Ada satu hari, aku singgah ke satu kedai buku lama kat Kompleks Pusat Bandar Pasir Gudang. Kalau ikut cakap adik2 ipar aku, kedai tu mmg dah lama sangat, since diorg kecik. Mcm takde org masuk je. Tapi aku masuk, sbb asalnya nak beli pen.

Belek punya belek, eh murahnya buku2 kat situ. aku jadi rambang mata, duit pulak sikit dlm purse.

Amik few workbooks, pen 2 batang.. patah balik amik workbook lagi. semua kurang dari RM30. Aku, balik seperti happy mama. Macam anak terus pandai bila beli workbook. Padahal Adam ABC pun blom kenal. Pandai kira daa npandai menyanyi, tp belum kenal karakter.

Tak kisah. Asal aku happy.

Adam masa tu baru 2 thn lebih. Belum 2 tahun setengah pun. Belum minat nak buat kerja sekolah. Dia angkat punggung bila buka workbook, tp duduk diam bila buka storybook.

Malam ni, aku dah kepenatan nak menjerit2.. kalau main diorg galak, mmg hampas la suara aku lemah lembut nak didengar. lepas kena marah sekali (sbb dia baling bola ke siling lalu jatuh kena kepala adik), dia nangis, adik nangis. dia peluk adik ckp sorry. aku, kalau sambung main mesti hangin balik.

“mari mari, kita buat tulis2”

Ooohh surprise sungguh.  Adam willingly come and sit, asking me what to do. I showed him how. 1st workbook, maths. First page, I showed him how to count. 2nd and 3rd page, he did the counting himself. Ok ok, aku sangat terperanjat. Walaupun warna pensel dan buku tu dah berlapok kat rumah, lepas few months ago aku dah stop ajak dia buat workbook sbb dia tak minat. Mlm ni dia sungguh2. Tak merungut pun. Apparently he is so happy with his achievement.

Maths tu kena warnakan bulatan ikut qty benda yg dikira. Mula2 aku la warnakan, then aku bg dia buat. Dia kata, “mama, tolong la. adam tak pandai”..

belum start dah ckp tak pandai. I hold his hands, showed him how. Mmg warna dia keluar dari orbit.. jauh betul. tapi matlamat utk warnakan bulatan itu tetap.
*bangga jap kat anak mama yg gembeng ni*. ok maths 3-4 page.

pastu tukar buku lain, writing.

The cheap ladybird woorkbook

adam buat kerja sampai lantai

writing ni buku Ladybird. It is so pretty workbook. hahah aku suka. I dont mind to buy him more, sbb harganya baru RM4.90 utk material yg tebal, warna terang, ada wipe-clean pages. Siap ada instructions utk parents apa nak buat with each page.

Buku tu pernah dicuba kepada Adam, tapi dulu hampa. Skrg, yay!! Dia tau nak buat apa. Writing bukan pasal huruf je, pasal drawing a straight or curvy lines. Best buku tu.

Adam, next year kita g skolah eh. Nnt teacher ajar betul2. *hugs*
