Pavlova love

I’ve never taste any pavlova. Tp org duk blog pasal ni. Ok nak buat, tp lokasi rumah yg cuma boleh harapkan tesco yg hampeh tu, nak berries? Dpt strawberries cameron dah ok laaaa. Hahaha

So last monday, ada strawberry. Nak tak nak tak. Berkira2.. Last last amik jugak. Pastu terus capai whip cream. Amik barang dapur lain jugak. Ada kiwi, bole la ni. Sbb x de blueberries. Kalau nak semua betul, alamat tak merasalah aku mcm mana. I’m not perfectionist that makes me a less stress person. Now u see? Aku akan stress bila ‘x dpt buat’, bukan stress sbb ‘buat tp x perfect’.

In some occasion, in mycase in trying new recipe, i find that it is stressful if i keep on comparing my success level with secret recipe level. It is plain ridoculous. Everything has its first time. Baking should be enjoyable and not stressful.

Smlm agak stress sbb meringue mcm melekit even tho i baked it at the correct tempreture (i think my oven temp dia x accurate laaa).. Even lebih lama dr instruction. Belasah je la sbb dah masuk balik pun (its a curse for a pastry/cake utk bakar 2 kali. Confirm x jadi) hahahha

Wait till we finished our dinner (we had piri piri chicken, spaghetti and salad), baru nak whipped up tje cream Aidan dah mintak tdo. Ok off to bed.

At 10-ish, I was definitely in heaven. The meringue did not melekit anymore (maybe i should just wait kan?). It was spongy, the right level of sweetness, kiwi and strawberry combined. Wowww. I must be heavenly crazy happy if i could taste the pavlova made by the expert!!

    aku belum [berani] cuba pavlova.
    bila lah nak buatnya, kalau beli mahal siot rm15/slice.
    but alexis’s pavlova is d best!

      Aku x rasa susah la nanoor. Aku mg fail tang decorate, tp yg aku buat ni pun dah sedap apa lagi dpt rasa Alexis yg diperkatakan oleh ka sepanjang prrgnant!

    tuty…waaaaa… big clap for you girl.. terrornya!!! i beli pavlova se-slice dekat RM15 tapi memang super duper sedap. nak buat sendiri tu macam takut je sebab it has been years since i did any baking. lagi lagi now tanpa supervision my mum sebab duduk rumah lain lain..

      Yana, maybe sbb i’ve nvr tasted n see the real pavlova so sbb tu x takut nak try. Try je. X susah. Sungguh. Yg penting utensils kena bersih & kering masa nak whip egg whites and jgn ada kuning termasuk sikiiiit pun.

      Mmg patut pun mahal. Berries are expensive. Lain la kalau bole substitute with local fruits. Hahahha honeydew? Watermelon and manggo. Hahha jgn durian and nangka sudah.

        uishh.. tuty kalau ganti dengan durian gila klakar.. orang putih nampak terus lari ..hehe.. yang dekat sini yana try kat kedai nama dia Serai at empire shopping gallery ( dekat subang).. tu yang first time try kena rm15.. tapi sedap. lama gila dah tak bake tuty.. tak berani nak try. tengok jelah u and ainul semua rajin rajin buat ..hehe.. nice! rajin u all ni🙂
